Job Description
NABA seeks a highly organized and proactive Marketing Operations Intern to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives, member engagement campaigns, and national events.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects, coordinating stakeholders, tracking details, solving problems, and ensuring that initiatives move forward successfully. The intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to support campaign execution, event logistics, content coordination, and cross-functional project management.
The successful candidate will help create capacity for the marketing team by ensuring that timelines, assets, approvals, and communications remain organized and on track.
Project & Marketing Operations
- Maintain marketing project plans, trackers, timelines, and status reports
- Follow up with internal stakeholders on deadlines and deliverables
- Coordinate project schedules and support project execution across multiple marketing initiatives
- Monitor marketing requests and ensure proper prioritization and completion
- Support documentation of processes, playbooks, and lessons learned
Event Marketing & Activations
- Support planning and execution of NABA events, programs, webinars, and conferences
- Coordinate event marketing timelines and promotional deliverables
- Manage speaker, partner, and sponsor communications as assigned
- Track asset collection and submission deadlines
- Assist with event logistics and participant communications
- Coordinate post-event content organization and follow-up activities
Content & Campaign Support
- Support content calendar management and campaign execution
- Coordinate social media and email marketing deliverables
- Assist with gathering content, testimonials, photos, and videos
- Draft basic marketing copy, reminders, and promotional communications
- Support quality assurance reviews of marketing materials and registration pages
Stakeholder Coordination
- Schedule meetings and maintain project communication workflows
- Track approvals and ensure timely follow-up
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, agencies, speakers, and internal stakeholders
- Support cross-functional collaboration across Membership, Programs, Partnerships, and Marketing

Preferred
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, events, activations, or communications initiatives
- Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and project management tools
- Experience working with stakeholders, clients, or partners
- Communications, Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related academic background

Physical Requirements
- One must possess the ability to communicate and exchange information as well as use a computer.
- One must be able to transport up to 20 lbs.
Expectations
- NABA operates from 9 am-5 pm EST Monday through Friday and expects its interns to work between 20 - 30 hours within these time frames
