Job Description

HR Generalist, Employee Service Center

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a HR Generalist, Employee Service Center in the United States.

This role sits within a modern, high-volume HR service environment designed to deliver scalable, consistent, and high-quality support across a distributed workforce. You will operate at the intersection of HR operations and HR Business Partner support, handling complex employee and manager inquiries that require sound judgment and strong HR fluency. Acting as a key Tier 3 escalation point, you will help resolve nuanced HR cases, support cyclical people processes, and ensure smooth execution of programs such as performance management and annual reviews. The role combines advisory support, case management, and cross-functional coordination across multiple HR teams and centers of excellence. You will also contribute to improving HR processes by identifying patterns, refining workflows, and strengthening documentation standards. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented environment where accuracy, discretion, and structured problem-solving are essential.

Accountabilities

You will serve as a critical link between HR operations and HR Business Partners, supporting managers with complex but non-strategic HR matters while ensuring consistent execution of people programs. Your work will include case management, manager coaching, and coordination of cyclical HR processes, all while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong employee experience standards.

  • Provide advanced manager coaching and case coordination across performance, annual review, and talent processes
  • Partner with HRBPs to execute people strategies and ensure end-to-end operational support for HR programs
  • Serve as a primary escalation point for Tier 3 HR inquiries requiring judgment and HR expertise
  • Manage intake, triage, documentation, and resolution of complex HR cases in ServiceNow
  • Support reporting and analytics requests, translating data into clear insights for stakeholders
  • Assist with performance management, calibration, and annual review coordination activities
  • Support talent acquisition processes including offer support and escalation management
  • Apply structured triage rules to ensure appropriate routing across Tier 1/2/3 and HRBP levels
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement and SOP development
Requirements

This role requires strong HR operations experience and the ability to navigate ambiguity while providing structured, policy-aligned guidance to managers. You should be comfortable working across multiple HR systems, managing competing priorities, and handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.

  • 1–4+ years of experience in HR shared services, HR operations, or HR generalist roles supporting managers
  • Experience in at least two HR domains such as performance management, talent processes, reporting, or TA support
  • Proficiency with HRIS and case management tools such as Workday and ServiceNow
  • Strong ability to triage and route HR cases based on risk, complexity, and business context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including manager-facing guidance and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive HR matters
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across HRBPs, COEs, TA, and other stakeholders
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations while driving clarity and structured outcomes
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly compensation ($27.30 – $45.90 depending on location)
  • Equity awards based on performance, experience, and location
  • Remote work flexibility across the United States
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and flexible leave options
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale HR operations and HRBP partnership work
  • Career development opportunities within a growing HR operations model
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven workplace culture
