This role sits at the intersection of life sciences expertise and SaaS-based safety solutions, supporting biopharmaceutical customers after system implementation. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients using a leading pharmacovigilance platform, helping them optimize drug safety processes, configure system enhancements, and adopt best practices. The position requires strong domain knowledge in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, combined with hands-on technical capability and consulting experience. You will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders, internal product teams, and delivery groups to ensure smooth system performance and continuous value realization. Working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, you will help shape solutions that improve regulatory compliance and patient safety outcomes. This is a remote role with occasional travel, offering exposure to global life sciences programs.
- Support life sciences customers post-implementation by ensuring effective use and optimization of Veeva Safety solutions within their pharmacovigilance workflows.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze safety processes, and translate them into system configurations and solutions.
- Configure, enhance, and support Vault Safety functionalities while implementing new features and maintaining system performance.
- Act as a liaison between customers, implementation teams, and internal product stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Guide customers on industry best practices, compliance standards, and SaaS adoption during their transition and ongoing usage.
- Develop solution designs, support system enhancements, and contribute to change management initiatives for evolving customer needs.
- 5+ years of experience in life sciences, with strong exposure to drug safety and pharmacovigilance processes in a consulting or implementation role.
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations, safety workflows, and compliance requirements in the life sciences industry.
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries and working with safety data sets.
- Experience with safety systems such as Argus, Aris, Empirica, RxLogix, or similar pharmacovigilance platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in client-facing environments.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced settings.
- Exposure to SaaS/cloud environments, CSV (computer systems validation), and safety reporting/analytics is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
