- Lead the architecture, strategy, and delivery of enterprise-scale Azure data science, AI, and cloud modernization programs across multiple teams and client environments.
- Oversee and mentor managers, architects, and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Define modernization frameworks, reference architectures, governance standards, and scalable delivery models that support security, reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability.
- Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and actionable delivery strategies, balancing innovation, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Guide major technical decisions involving machine learning, MLOps, data engineering, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and cloud platform architecture.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and delivery teams to communicate modernization strategies, risks, trade-offs, and measurable outcomes.
- Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, automation, modular architecture, AI-assisted development, and quality assurance across large distributed programs.
- Support strategic growth initiatives by contributing to client pursuits, solution proposals, technical estimates, reusable accelerators, and long-term account expansion opportunities.
- Develop reusable frameworks, playbooks, and mentoring assets that improve delivery consistency, accelerate onboarding, and scale organizational capabilities.
- 12+ years of experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within cloud engineering, application development, DevOps, data engineering, analytics, or related technical domains.
- 7+ years of experience leading architecture initiatives, engineering teams, or multi-workstream delivery programs at enterprise scale.
- Strong expertise in data science, machine learning, MLOps, predictive analytics, and Azure-based data platforms such as Azure ML, Synapse, Databricks, Fabric, and Spark.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud modernization, AI transformation, and enterprise data architecture solutions.
- Deep understanding of modern data engineering, governance, observability, automation, and Agile delivery practices within distributed environments.
- Experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise solutions, including generative AI, RAG pipelines, AI orchestration frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
- Experience managing hybrid or remote teams across multiple time zones while maintaining alignment, delivery quality, and team engagement.
- Proficiency with modern engineering and collaboration tools including GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development workflows.
- Consulting or professional services experience with client-facing leadership responsibilities is strongly preferred.
- Relevant Azure, Databricks, AI, or cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $168,400 to $252,600 USD, depending on experience and location.
