RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the fabrication and assembly of aerospace composite components using hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform composite layup, mold preparation, cutting/kitting, trimming, and assembly activities under direct or indirect supervision as required.
• Maintain safe handling of materials throughout the manufacturing process, including packaging of completed parts.
• Assist with tooling setup, operation, and maintenance for fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Follow safety standards, manufacturing procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous exposure to manufacturing or production environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles, blueprint interpretation, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools, performing fabrication work, or supporting manufacturing operations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with materials handling, tooling, and fabrication processes is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail along with basic math and problem-solving skills required for daily tasks.
• Prior aerospace or manufacturing industry experience is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory.
