Brand Ambassador in Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, Arizona at SanTan Brewing + Distilling

SanTan Brewing Company is looking for a Brand Ambassador to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

Located in the Phoenix metro’s East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15-bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location. In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out into distilled spirits in 2017 and in 2019 expanded to include Spirit House; a cocktail-driven bar with a delicious food menu, lounge-like atmosphere and knowledgeable, approachable staff. A clear departure from the standard craft cocktail bar, Spirit House aims to demystify the world of distilling and flavor pairing through friendly education and quality service. We're devoted to uncommon quality for everyday occasions and we are looking for eager, energetic and friendly team members who share our vision!

Core Functions:

• Increase sales within high volume designated market territory
• Maintain constant market visitation schedule, tracked through monthly goals, within assigned territory for both on/off premise accounts
• Achieve sales growth with weekly/monthly goals tracked by VIP iDig + Karma sales management.
• Develop new accounts and placements.
• Identify key accounts utilizing VIP and develop and implement sales strategies to establish business in those accounts
• Develop and implement marketing and brand awareness programs to support sales, including promotions, food pairings, tastings, beer dinners, merchandising, POS, craft beer educational presentations for customers and consumers and special events.
• Support and assist distributors with sales and marketing of all products in the market, including marketing materials, displays and product placement
• Work with retailers to pull sales through distributors and monitor fulfillment.
• Provide weekly summary reports and execution status of monthly business objectives to SanTan Brewing Company management and Ownership
• Utilize VIP iDig Karma to its fullest capacity, checking into accounts and tracking notes entered.
• Availability to work a flexible full-time schedule with evenings and weekend work. Plus, attend/work mandatory SanTan events.

Qualifications:

• Experience - Entry level Ideal candidates would have 1-2 years of proven results in sales and/or 1 year in an alcohol related industry including managing Distributor/Supplier relationships but experience is not required to apply.
• Enthusiasm - Understands the dynamics of craft beer & craft spirits, especially local and regional offerings. Remains aware of competitive trends, local events, and other factors affecting the environment in which SanTan does business.
• Personal Integrity - Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and commitment to following through and achieving results.
• Organizational Skills - Can prioritize both day to day and long-term projects allocating time to urgent and non-urgent projects. Organized and capable of driving others while holding the group accountable to team goals.
• Work Ethics - Must be self-motivated with an ability to take direction from management on daily/weekly goals and have an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals. Must have a strong work ethic demonstrated by an ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency and commitment.
• Technical Skills - Proficient written and verbal communication skills with the ability to complete administrative work associated with the job.
• Google Workspace experience a plus

Compensation:

Full Time Salaried Position $45,000-$65,000 annual with pay commensurate with experience

Job Requirements:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance and be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
