Job Description
What You'll Do
As a Medication Technician, you'll combine excellent clinical skills with compassionate resident care.
Responsibilities include:
Safely administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policies.
Verify resident identity before administering medications or treatments.
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
Accurately document medication administration, resident observations, incidents, and changes in condition.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Monitor meal intake and document nutritional information as required.
Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and move-outs.
Provide compassionate emotional support and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and leadership to provide exceptional resident-centered care.
Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and state regulations.
