LEAD SECURITY OFFICER in Prince Frederick, Maryland at CalvertHealth

Position requires a combination of three years of education and/or experience. Education should be in criminal justice, emergency management or life safety. Experience as a Security Officer, Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Firefighter or Military experience required.

Currently has a Maryland State Security Guard Card Certification or MUST successfully complete 12 hours of Initial Security Guard Training, given at CalvertHealth, required by the Maryland State Police Licensing Division, be fingerprinted and successfully pass a background check by the Maryland State Police.

Demonstrate ability to effectively respond to emergencies via successful completion of mandatory bi-annual physical fitness tests (PFT)*. Failure to pass the PFT will result in a probationary period followed by termination for failing to meet the position's requirements. **Pertains to all officers hired after March 2014 and those officers hired before March 2014 who participate in the CHS Security Department Career Ladder. *PFT consists of a combination of the following maneuvers: 10 phase Physical Fitness Test requiring running, lifting, 30 push-ups and 30 sit-ups.
