Position Summary

Anchor Innovation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support afloat and ashore Mission Package (MP) and Mission Module equipment. This position is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and alteration maintenance on mission package systems supporting the U.S. Navy's Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program.

The successful candidate will provide maintenance support for Surface Warfare (SUW), Mine Countermeasures (MCM), Small Unmanned Surface Vessel (sUSV) systems, ISO shipping containers, and associated equipment. This role supports Mission Package Planned Maintenance Availabilities (PMAVs), Mission Module Restricted Availabilities (MMRAs), and embarkation/debarkation events while ensuring all maintenance is completed in accordance with approved technical procedures and safety standards.

This position requires frequent travel and the ability to work both independently and as part of a highly skilled maintenance team supporting fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on SUW, MCM, sUSV, and associated systems using approved maintenance procedures.
  • Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mission package equipment.
  • Document maintenance actions using MFOM AWN Work Notifications (WN), accountability logs, and maintenance reporting systems.
  • Identify, document, and track equipment discrepancies through MFOM AWN for review and approval.
  • Execute corrosion control maintenance for ISO containers and MCM equipment.
  • Conduct equipment startup, layup, preservation, and Ready for Issue (RFI) maintenance.
  • Support Engineering during RFI inspections and embarkation/debarkation events involving installation and removal of mission package equipment.
  • Participate in PMAV completion reviews, hot washes, and provide recommendations regarding material usage, conditions found, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain access and proficiency with Navy maintenance systems, including:
    • MFOM AWN
    • MPSF Maintenance Microsoft Teams collaboration environment
    • PMS accountability logs
    • Other required Navy maintenance databases
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport mission package systems and ISO containers.
  • Provide maintenance support to the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) fleet throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Prepare daily maintenance reports, situation reports (SITREPs), and maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all applicable OSHA, Navy, and company safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required to start)
  • Must be able to maintain a Secret Clearance throughout employment
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting maritime, waterfront, expeditionary, small craft, SUW, MCM, sUSV, or related systems
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic operational environments
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in maritime environments
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment associated with waterfront maintenance operations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (CONUS and OCONUS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous U.S. Navy maintenance experience
  • Experience supporting Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Package Systems
  • Familiarity with MFOM AWN, Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and maintenance documentation processes
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience
