Scope of Position: The primary purpose of Activity Aide is to help the director with the assessment of resident abilities, limitations and preferences related to activities. He/she will assist in planning for and providing group and individual activities for the residents. There is also documentation, other record keeping, and attention to the environment.

Requirements:
  1. Compassion for the elderly.
  2. Maintaining Confidentiality.
  3. Ability to work with and understand the needs of the residents, families, and peers.
  4. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  5. Know Residents’ Rights.
  6. Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
