Job Description
Mechanical Building Design Co-op Position - KZF Design
This mechanical co-op position focuses on the design of mechanical building systems for commercial and federal clients. Applicants will work on a variety of project types from offices, schools, churches, barracks, labs, warehouses, prisons, and more, for clients located across the country and internationally. Follow the design process from beginning to end (design, bid, permit, construction) through the construction drawing process and get hands on experience by participating in site visits to see mechanical system designs in action.
Effective communication skills and team collaboration are desired. The position will work closely with architects, landscape, interiors, other engineering disciplines, and clients.
Applicants should have a familiarity of Revit, with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and Bluebeam knowledge as a bonus. On the job training of all software is available.
