Principal of Commercial Analytics

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal of Commercial Analytics in United States.

This role operates at the intersection of advanced analytics, healthcare strategy, and regulatory intelligence, serving as a senior advisor within a high-impact commercial analytics function. You will help shape enterprise decision-making by translating complex healthcare regulations—particularly around pharmacy and 340B programs—into actionable business insights and strategic guidance. Acting as both a technical expert and strategic partner, you will influence leadership decisions, client strategies, and operational optimization initiatives. The role blends hands-on analytical work with executive-level consulting, requiring strong communication and storytelling abilities. You will also help define scalable analytics frameworks, improve data integration across healthcare systems, and drive innovation through AI-enabled decision support tools. This is a highly visible position where your insights directly shape compliance, revenue performance, and healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Monitor healthcare regulatory changes (including 340B, IRA, and Medicaid policies) and assess their strategic impact on business performance and client outcomes
  • Lead the design, governance, and expansion of 340B analytics frameworks, including Centers of Excellence, compliance models, and training initiatives
  • Develop advanced scenario-based models and opportunity assessments to support pharmacy optimization, margin improvement, and specialty value capture
  • Oversee integration and analysis of EMR, payer, and dispensing system data to ensure accurate compliance and operational performance reporting
  • Build and deliver executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reports translating complex analytics into clear business recommendations
  • Drive development of AI-powered analytics tools, predictive models, and scalable decision-support systems for health system clients
  • Partner with leadership to define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and strategic analytics roadmaps across commercial and pharmacy operations
  • Mentor analysts and contribute to team capability building in data storytelling, modeling, and advanced analytics methodologies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in 340B economics, pharmacy performance metrics, and healthcare regulatory analytics
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical business standards
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of experience in healthcare or commercial analytics with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Strong expertise in 340B program design, implementation, analytics, or compliance (training such as 340B University or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven experience in healthcare data modeling, regulatory reporting, and audit/compliance processes
  • Deep understanding of pharmacy economics, payer data, and healthcare performance metrics
  • Strong technical skills in tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Azure, Databricks, or similar analytics platforms
  • Experience building predictive models and translating data into strategic business insights
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives in healthcare environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Health Economics, Analytics, Public Health, or related field preferred
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% as needed
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $135,000
  • Comprehensive medical coverage with low deductibles and affordable copays
  • Dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, and flexible spending accounts
  • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan
  • Generous paid time off and industry-leading PTO policies
  • Flexible work-from-home environment with supportive team culture
  • Professional leadership development and training opportunities
  • Earned wage access program
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture focused on healthcare impact and outcomes
