This role is a key leadership position driving large-scale ERP and business systems transformation within a global aerospace and defense organization. You will lead SAP functional teams focused on Record-to-Report and Order-to-Cash processes, ensuring seamless system integration, operational continuity, and process standardization across enterprise functions. The position plays a critical role in shaping and delivering a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program, enabling modernization of core business processes and digital capabilities. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across regions to align technology, people, and processes with strategic business goals. This is a highly influential role combining strategic leadership, hands-on delivery oversight, and cross-functional coordination. It is ideal for a seasoned SAP leader who thrives in complex, large-scale transformation environments.
- Lead and manage SAP functional teams across Record-to-Report (R2R) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) workstreams, ensuring alignment with enterprise transformation goals.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA processes, ensuring integration between technical and functional teams.
- Drive planning, execution, and governance of large-scale ERP transformation initiatives across business units.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of SAP professionals, fostering coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure system consistency, business continuity, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across SAP processes, tools, and delivery frameworks.
- 15+ years of SAP experience with at least 10 years in leading SAP functional or technical teams in large-scale environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and deep understanding of R2R and O2C business processes.
- Proven experience managing complex ERP transformation or global system implementation programs.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10–20+ professionals.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Solid understanding of the full software development and system implementation lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed, and global organizations.
