This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to lead business growth within the dynamic coffee and beverage sector. The role combines strategic account management with new business development, offering the chance to influence market expansion across multiple channels, including convenience stores, foodservice operators, roasters, and restaurant groups. You will play a key role in building long-term customer relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving category growth through innovative beverage solutions. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, R&D, and operations teams, you will help deliver tailored solutions that meet evolving customer needs. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and expand market presence within the liquid coffee and beverage category.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, distributors, operators, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Expand brand visibility and strengthen market positioning across targeted foodservice, convenience, and coffee industry channels.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, research and development, and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and support business growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Support the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales strategies, business development initiatives, and category growth plans.
  • Coordinate proposal development and sales processes in partnership with internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and stay informed on market developments.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on pipeline activity, business performance, market intelligence, and key sales metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial sales experience within the liquid coffee industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product development and a strong understanding of building and scaling white-label beverage programs.
  • Established relationships with purchasing professionals, category managers, office coffee service providers, and other key industry contacts.
  • Existing network within national or regional foodservice, restaurant, retail, or coffee chains is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, negotiating agreements, and successfully closing deals.
  • Strong business development, account management, and strategic sales planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% as required.
