Talent Acquisition Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in India.

This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to lead end-to-end talent acquisition across the U.S. and Canadian markets.
You will focus on hiring highly specialized professionals across Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, and analytics.
The role combines strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on recruiting execution.
You will build strong talent pipelines while partnering closely with hiring managers to understand evolving business and technical needs.
Your work will directly support organizational growth within a fast-paced, technology-driven consulting environment.
The position also offers opportunities to expand your scope into talent team development and ownership of recruiting for a business line or vertical.
Success in this role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication, organization, and the ability to operate effectively across time zones.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for U.S. and Canadian hiring, from sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, negotiations, and closing.
  • Source, identify, engage, and assess qualified candidates for specialized roles across Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines to support current and anticipated hiring needs across multiple levels.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and interview panels to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, calibrate selection processes, and maintain an efficient candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking system records and ensure recruitment activity and candidate feedback are properly documented.
  • Engage and attract talent ranging from senior consulting professionals to leadership-level candidates.
  • Manage offer and negotiation processes in close collaboration with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge of North American work authorization requirements throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with external recruiting firms, contractors, and other talent partners.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable recruiting practices and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness and candidate engagement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing U.S. hiring, particularly for Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related technical positions.
  • Strong understanding of North American work authorization processes and recruiting considerations.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical professionals and leadership candidates.
  • Experience within a consulting organization with global operations across the U.S. and India is highly preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency with Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where hiring requirements may evolve quickly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Enthusiastic, personable, collaborative, and positive approach to working with candidates and internal teams.
  • Availability to work according to Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
