Job Description

Executive Assistant, CEO & Leadership Team

About Megaport
We’re not your typical tech company – and we don’t want to be. Megaport is the global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and has transformed the way businesses connect to the cloud, data centers, and each other. We’re publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and partnered with the biggest names in tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, and more. Headquartered in Brisbane with a crew of over 600 people spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, our employees enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and (actually) fun.
Our Team Culture
We’re a team of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics. Culture is more than a poster on the wall here – collaboration beats hierarchy, curiosity fuels our growth, and everyone’s voice matters. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work across time zones to execute on our global vision, trust each other to get things done, and never compromise our values for commercial gain. Most importantly, we place our customers at the center of everything we do.
We’re committed to increasing representation in the tech industry and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Don’t meet every requirement? That’s okay. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.

The Role

As Executive Assistant, you'll be a trusted partner to the CEO and senior Executive Leadership Team, helping create the time, focus and structure needed for them to operate effectively. You'll manage complex schedules, coordinate travel and events, support executive priorities, and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the business.

This role requires exceptional organisation, sound judgement, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. You'll be trusted with highly confidential information and play an important role in keeping our leadership team connected, informed, and operating efficiently.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving problems before they become problems, and can confidently manage competing priorities across multiple time zones. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business and gain unique exposure to the inner workings of a global technology company.

Success in this role requires sound judgement, exceptional organisation, and a high level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. You'll be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating changing priorities while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide executive support to the CEO and broader Executive Leadership Team.

  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and help prioritise competing demands across multiple time zones.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel and accommodation for the CEO, Board, and Executive Team.

  • Manage relationships with travel providers and support compliance with company travel policies.

  • Assist with planning and coordinating events involving customers, partners, investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.

  • Prepare and manage executive expense reporting.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive information.

  • Support key business initiatives, projects, and ad hoc requests as needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Resourceful and solutions-focused, with a knack for finding answers and getting things done.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, global business.

  • Strong judgement, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Confident learning and adopting new tools, systems, and technologies.

  • Flexible and responsive when business priorities shift or support is needed outside standard hours.

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to work alongside some of the best people in the industry

  • Flexible working arrangements

  • Birthday Leave

  • Learning and development opportunities plus 5 days paid study leave

  • Modern, collaborative workspaces

  • Health and wellbeing initiatives

  • Recognition through our Legend and Kudos programs

  • Career growth opportunities across a global organisation
