Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist Digital Experience

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist — Digital Experience based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how prospects move from digital engagement to meaningful marketing interactions and qualified opportunities.
You will connect website experiences with HubSpot to create personalized, data-driven customer journeys across the marketing lifecycle.
The position combines marketing automation, behavioral data, segmentation, personalization, and conversion optimization.
You will design sophisticated nurture programs, identify next-best actions, and help turn digital behaviors into actionable engagement signals.
As a subject-matter expert, you will also explore AI and emerging technologies to make marketing experiences more relevant, scalable, and effective.
Working across Marketing, Web, Content, and Marketing Operations, you will serve as a critical operational bridge between digital touchpoints and downstream marketing processes.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and implement AI-enabled digital journeys across websites and HubSpot using workflows, forms, email, segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers.
  • Map prospect and customer journeys and develop nurture programs that guide audiences from anonymous website visitors through identification, engagement, conversion, and qualification.
  • Analyze prospect behaviors and identify next-best actions to coordinate relevant experiences across multiple marketing touchpoints.
  • Own the operational connection between website experiences and HubSpot, ensuring engagement data is captured accurately and consistently.
  • Establish and maintain standards for website-to-HubSpot tracking and data collection to support segmentation, automation, personalization, and lead nurturing.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for HubSpot Marketing Hub automation, including emerging AI capabilities and opportunities to improve personalization, conversion, engagement, and marketing productivity.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to define valuable digital engagement signals and determine which behaviors should contribute to lead scoring and qualification.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes and comprehensive documentation for major automations, including triggers, dependencies, workflows, and business rules.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Web, Content, and Marketing Operations to connect digital experiences with broader prospect and lead-management journeys.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation performance, operational efficiency, and the consistency of global marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Automation, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of direct, hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex HubSpot workflows and nurture programs.
  • Strong understanding of forms, landing pages, segmentation, personalization, behavioral triggers, and digital conversion strategies.
  • Experience working with digital advertising platforms that drive traffic into digital marketing and conversion experiences.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues, interpret behavioral data, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills, particularly for complex automation processes, dependencies, triggers, and business rules.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, web, content, and operations teams and communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub certification or related HubSpot certifications is preferred.
  • Experience with website analytics and digital experience optimization is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with personalization, experimentation, and conversion optimization is preferred.
  • Experience supporting B2B or global marketing organizations is highly valuable.
  • Practical experience applying AI capabilities to marketing automation and digital engagement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP integrations, including platforms such as NetSuite, is advantageous.
  • Understanding of tracking scripts, tag management systems, and fundamental web development concepts is preferred.
  • Strong interest in emerging marketing technologies and the ability to evaluate how new capabilities can improve customer journeys and marketer productivity.
