TRAINING AND HANDOVER

• Run training sessions and workshops for the finance users, delivered by you rather than by a vendor
• Write and maintain the user guides, training material and system documentation
• Leave finance able to run the system without you standing behind them

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE DONE BEFORE

• At least five years in an SAP finance functional or business analyst role
• S/4HANA finance configuration across at least two full lifecycles, at least one as the analyst
• General ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, intercompany, period close
• Consolidation across multiple legal entities
• Chart of accounts design or redesign
• Has stood beside a controller during cutover balance validation and made the numbers tie
• Data extraction, mapping, conversion and validation, at volume
• Able to take a business requirement and turn it into a specification someone can build from
• A degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business or information technology. CPA preferred

HELPFUL, NOT ESSENTIAL

• Manufacturing costing: product costing, material ledger, variance analysis
• Canadian and United States tax
• SAP Group Reporting or Central Finance
• Financial planning and analysis
• Data migration reconciliation at volume

• You explain a design decision and its trade-off without reaching for jargon
• You are comfortable holding several priorities at once and saying which one moved

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is classified within our Professional Career Framework.The follow position is a level P2, with a pay range of $90,000 to $110,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.The P2 level reflects an experienced SAP functional professional with significant expertise in Finance and Record to Report processes. This role is responsible for the end-to-end functional ownership of SAP Finance, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany, banking, chart of accounts, entity consolidation, period close, financial reporting, and finance data integrity.The role provides hands-on functional leadership throughout the SAP S/4HANA implementation, including solution design, configuration, testing, data reconciliation, cutover readiness, documentation, user training, and business process adoption.
