Social Media Manager - Digital Marketing Company

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Manager - Digital Marketing Company based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a motivated social media professional looking to build a long-term career in digital marketing.
You will support organic social media strategies designed to increase engagement, strengthen online communities, and generate qualified leads.
The role combines content creation, publishing, trend research, community engagement, and performance monitoring.
You will work with social media content across different platforms while learning how to create authentic connections with target audiences.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly focused on experimentation, creativity, and measurable results.
You will collaborate with marketing and copywriting teams while gaining exposure to U.S.-based businesses and digital marketing strategies.

Accountabilities
  • Support the planning and execution of organic social media strategies across relevant platforms.

  • Create, schedule, publish, and manage engaging social media content.

  • Monitor comments, conversations, engagement, and community activity to encourage meaningful audience interactions.

  • Research emerging trends, content formats, topics, hooks, creators, and viral opportunities that can improve reach and engagement.

  • Research competitors, online communities, and successful social media strategies to identify new ideas and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with copywriting, marketing, and other internal teams on content initiatives and campaigns.

  • Maintain an organized and consistent social media content calendar.

  • Track basic social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative, relevant, and audience-focused content ideas.

  • Ensure published content remains accurate, engaging, authentic, and aligned with brand objectives.

  • Take increasing ownership of marketing initiatives and additional responsibilities as skills and performance develop.

  • Communicate consistently with internal teams and remain accountable for deadlines, priorities, and deliverables.

Requirements
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, content creation, and online communities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional proficiency in English.

  • Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality.

  • Proactive, dependable, responsive, and comfortable taking initiative without constant supervision.

  • Ability to learn new social media platforms, tools, workflows, and processes quickly.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain accountability in a fully remote environment.

  • Genuine curiosity about social media trends, audience behavior, content formats, and what drives engagement.

  • Availability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

  • A growth-oriented mindset and willingness to take on progressively greater responsibility.

  • Openness to feedback, strong coachability, and the ability to apply learnings quickly.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous internship, freelance, agency, or professional experience in social media or digital marketing.

  • Experience managing or contributing to business, brand, or creator social media accounts.

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling or management platforms.

  • Basic experience with social media analytics and performance metrics.

  • Understanding of organic social media strategy, community engagement, and content performance.

  • Experience researching trends, competitors, creators, viral content, or online communities.

  • Exposure to Facebook Groups, community marketing, or local business marketing.

Benefits
  • Compensation: $1,200–$1,500 USD per month.
