This role plays a pivotal part in improving fulfillment quality across a complex online marketplace.
You will leverage operational performance data to identify quality gaps, uncover root causes, and recommend meaningful improvements.
The position combines deep analytical work with proactive monitoring, reporting, and operational problem-solving.
You will support retailer performance, fulfillment quality, launches, escalations, and strategic initiatives across the business.
Working closely with business, product, engineering, and technical stakeholders, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

- Proactively monitor retailer performance across key fulfillment quality dimensions, developing dashboards and processes that simplify issue diagnosis and support successful retailer launches.
- Analyze fluctuations, anomalies, and outliers across key retailer quality metrics to identify root causes, develop hypotheses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with large datasets to uncover business insights and independently design and execute analytical plans that identify, understand, and reduce fulfillment quality issues with accuracy and consistency.
- Support analytics requests, ad hoc retailer analyses, launch impact assessments, and retailer escalations, while helping size initiatives for product and analytics roadmaps.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives through presentations and insights decks for business and technical stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and other teams to turn data-driven recommendations into scalable process and product improvements.
- Establish proactive monitoring approaches that address emerging quality issues before they become larger operational challenges.
- 1+ year of experience in a data analytics-related role, such as business intelligence, corporate strategy, consulting, or data science.
- Strong experience analyzing and visualizing large datasets, with advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to aggregate and synthesize complex data while developing a strong understanding of both micro- and macro-level fulfillment metrics and operational systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to quickly identify anomalies, investigate trends, develop hypotheses, and draw nuanced conclusions from data.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides, with the ability to communicate analytical findings through clear, logical, and persuasive narratives.
- Strong sense of ownership and independence, with confidence proposing new ideas, challenging existing processes, and driving improvements without requiring constant direction.
- Experience in a consumer marketplace or logistics environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouses, GitHub, Jira, and visualization platforms such as Mode or Tableau is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating directly with product and engineering teams on scalable solutions is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-powered analytics tools, including approaches for data validation and reproducibility, is considered an additional advantage.
- Competitive base salary of $81,000–$85,500 CAD for candidates based in Canada.
