Part-Time Print Center Operator in Boston, Massachusetts at Bunker Hill Community College

The Part-Time Print Center Operator will operate apparatus such as digital production presses, wide-format printers, bindery equipment and perform related work as required.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Reproduction Services Supervisor this person will be responsible for:

• Operates monochrome and color digital presses.
• Operates Roland wide format printer and plot cutter.
• Operates bindery equipment.
• Produces printed materials such as brochures, forms, newsletters and exhibits using Flux or Fiery, Roland VersaWorks, and Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator) and SignLab.
• Operates envelope press and Ryobi 3302H two color press.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate monochrome and color digital production press.
• Ability to operate wide-format printer with plot cutting.
• Ability to operate digital envelope press.
• Ability to operate various bindery equipment.
• Have knowledge of Flux/Fiery, VersaWorks, Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator), and SignLab.
• Offset Printing Press knowledge preferred.

Additional Information:

Salary: $27.00 an hour. This is a part-time non-benefitted position for 18.5 hours per week. All work will be in-person at the Bunker Hill Community College Charlestown Campus.
