Position Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location: Pineville,, North Carolina
st shift. The pay range is $90,000 - $105,000 depending on experience.
Approximately 90% of the role is focused on engineering and design activities, with 10% dedicated to field service, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and customer-facing technical assistance.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required (ECE preferred)
- 5+ years of experience designing electrical power and control systems for industrial equipment, machinery, or automation applications
- Strong proficiency with ePLAN for electrical schematic and panel design
- Working knowledge of UL 508A, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, CE, ISO, or similar industrial standards, with the ability to apply those requirements independently
- Experience selecting and integrating electrical components such as transformers, relays, contactors, sensors, drives, and power distribution equipment
- Ability to support equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and occasional field service activities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to balance accuracy with project timelines
- Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, service, and customer teams
- Experience in high-temperature equipment or furnace-related systems is a major plus
- Certifications such as EIT/FE, NFPA 70, or UL508A a strong plus
- IEEE membership preferred
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Electrical Engineer will lead cradle-to-grave development of electrical systems for industrial machinery. You’ll be responsible for power and control circuit design, layout generation, compliance with safety codes, and seamless integration with mechanical and automation teams.
- Own electrical hardware design: power distribution (AC 120V–600V, DC 24V–60V), control panels, cable routing, and schematics
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards (NEC, UL, CE, NFPA)
- Maintain complete design documentation including BOMs, grounding plans, and component specs
- Support manufacturing and troubleshooting during equipment build and commissioning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, mechanical, and production engineers
- Work on electrified industrial equipment used in metal injection molding and additive manufacturing
- Stay involved through the full lifecycle: from concept to production and delivery
