Sr. Director Analyst, Digital Marketing, Commerce, Advertising & Product Information Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director Analyst, Digital Marketing, Commerce, Advertising & Product Information Management based in United States.

This is a senior thought leadership role focused on shaping strategic insights across digital marketing, commerce, advertising ecosystems, and product information management. The position sits at the intersection of research, market intelligence, and executive advisory, influencing how global organizations adapt to fast-evolving digital business models. The role drives high-impact analysis on emerging trends such as AI-driven advertising, omnichannel commerce, and product experience strategies. It requires translating complex market dynamics into clear, actionable guidance for enterprise leaders. You will engage directly with senior executives through presentations, advisory sessions, and industry events. The environment is highly collaborative, research-intensive, and globally oriented, with strong emphasis on innovation and intellectual leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop high-impact, forward-looking insights, research content, and thought leadership on digital marketing, commerce, advertising, and product information management ecosystems.
  • Analyze market trends, client challenges, and industry shifts to produce actionable strategic guidance for enterprise decision-makers.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations, briefings, and advisory sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Contribute to sales and client engagement activities by providing market expertise and supporting business development efforts.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to peer review processes to ensure high-quality research output.
  • Participate in innovation initiatives, research planning, and continuous improvement of analytical frameworks and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of professional experience across at least two of the following areas: digital marketing, advertising technology, digital commerce, or product information management/PXM.
  • Strong expertise in advertising ecosystems, commerce platforms, PIM/PXM strategies, or related digital transformation domains.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives with executive presence and strong communication skills.
  • Deep analytical capability with experience synthesizing complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen with understanding of global market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 percent when required.
