This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Walmart & Sam's Club Account Executive based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to lead and grow strategic retail partnerships with two of the largest retailers in North America. The role combines account management, commercial strategy, financial analysis, and cross-functional leadership to drive sustainable business growth. You will be responsible for developing customer-focused plans, identifying new growth opportunities, and executing initiatives that strengthen market performance across multiple channels, including eCommerce and omnichannel retail. Working closely with internal teams and retail stakeholders, you will influence key business decisions while ensuring flawless execution of sales and marketing strategies. Accountabilities
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key retail partners and internal cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and long-term business growth.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific business plans focused on increasing revenue, profitability, market share, and category performance.
  • Lead account management activities, taking ownership of commercial performance and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, shopper marketing, supply chain, analytics, and sales teams to deliver integrated business strategies.
  • Drive growth initiatives across omnichannel and eCommerce platforms while supporting new product launches and category expansion efforts.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, financial metrics, and business drivers to support strategic decision-making and profitable growth.
  • Monitor competitive activity, promotions, pricing, and category developments, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with business analysts to review point-of-sale data, reporting, and performance trends.
  • Ensure flawless execution of retailer programs, product launches, promotional initiatives, and online merchandising strategies.
  • Respond promptly to retailer requests and leverage data-driven insights to optimize business performance and customer outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience managing national retail accounts, with direct Walmart and/or Sam’s Club experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales, category management, customer development, and account planning.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, evaluate business scenarios, and drive strategic recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience using retail analytics platforms, including Scintilla and Madrid.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver measurable business growth.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
