Tech, Echo/US - Fulltime in Las Cruces, New Mexico at Three Crosses Regional Hospital

• Responsible for providing echo tech ultrasound imaging of patient’s heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient.
• Performs Transthoracic Echo cardiograms that accesses heart functions, wall motion abnormalities and abnormal valve velocities.
• Assists and performs trans-esophageal echo cardiograms.
• Performs Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo tests.
• Enters data and maintains a variety of reports, files and records to ensure accuracy. May assist with basic clerical functions as requested.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Echo Tech Education and Experiences Job Requirements:

• Minimum: Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• One (1) year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
• ARRT (Ultrasound), CCI, or ARDMS Certification
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications ( American Heart Association)
