As a Bell Person, you are often the very first point of welcome for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay through your professionalism, attentiveness, and warm presence. Whether you’re assisting with luggage, guiding guests through the property, coordinating transportation needs, or offering personalized recommendations about our dining, entertainment, and casino experiences, you play a key role in creating a seamless arrival and departure. Your ability to anticipate needs, offer polished service, and create moments of ease ensures every guest feels cared for from the moment they step onto the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Welcome & Arrival Experience — Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a seamless and memorable arrival from the moment they step onto the property.
- Luggage Assistance — Safely handle, transport, and store guest luggage with care, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Property Guidance — Offer clear directions and escort guests throughout the resort, ensuring they feel confident navigating the hotel, casino, dining, and entertainment areas.
- Transportation Coordination — Arrange taxis, rideshare pickups, shuttle services, and other transportation needs promptly and professionally.
- Guest Information Support — Share knowledgeable, helpful recommendations about River Rock’s amenities, casino offerings, dining options, and local attractions.
- Guest Requests & Amenities — Assist with special requests such as delivering amenities, retrieving items, and supporting guest comfort throughout their stay.
- Room Delivery Services — Deliver packages, messages, and in‑room items with accuracy, timeliness, and polished service.
- Department Collaboration — Work closely with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Valet, and other operational teams to support a smooth and coordinated guest experience.
- Relationship Building — Build strong rapport with guests and colleagues, contributing to a welcoming, service‑driven environment.
- Safety & Compliance — Follow all safety protocols, licensing requirements, and health and security standards.
- Additional Duties — Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Education and Qualifications
- Scheduling – must be available to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Guest Service Experience — Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required; a genuine passion for helping others is essential.

- Physical Capability — Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy luggage safely and efficiently.
- Communication Skills — Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an asset in supporting our diverse guest community.
- Education in hospitality an asset
- Experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar guest-focused environment an asset
- Ability to clear a criminal record check
Work Environment Considerations
Standing for extended periods and supporting the operation during non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
