SVP and General Manager, Valenz Bluebook

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SVP and General Manager, Valenz Bluebook based in the United States.

This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, performance, and growth of a flagship healthcare transparency and cost navigation platform. You will oversee the evolution of a high-impact product into a scalable enterprise growth engine, shaping how employers, payers, providers, and members engage with healthcare cost and decision-support tools. The role combines P&L ownership with deep cross-functional leadership across product, technology, revenue, marketing, and client success. You will define long-term strategy while ensuring operational excellence, platform reliability, and measurable customer outcomes. A key focus is accelerating market adoption, expanding revenue streams, and strengthening client value realization. This is a highly visible position reporting to the CEO, with significant influence over enterprise strategy and external market positioning. The environment is fast-paced, mission-driven, and centered on transforming healthcare transparency and affordability.

Accountabilities:
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Bluebook business, including growth, profitability, forecasting, and long-term strategic performance.
  • Define and execute multi-year business strategy focused on market expansion, adoption, and enterprise value creation.
  • Lead annual planning cycles including budgets, operating plans, KPIs, and executive performance reporting.
  • Oversee product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment between customer needs, market opportunities, and financial objectives.
  • Drive platform stabilization, operational excellence, and performance improvements across reliability and user experience.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy including positioning, pricing, value proposition, and expansion initiatives.
  • Partner with Revenue, Marketing, and Client Success to accelerate sales, retention, renewals, and customer expansion.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key clients and strategic partnerships, strengthening market relationships and outcomes.
  • Evaluate and execute new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams that enhance platform growth.
  • Align cross-functional leadership across Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Operations, and HR to ensure execution against priorities.
  • Represent the platform externally as a thought leader in healthcare transparency and consumer engagement.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, benefits, managed care, or related industries.
  • Proven success in leading a business, product line, or P&L with direct accountability for revenue and profitability.
  • Strong track record of driving growth, market adoption, and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and expansion planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders at the highest levels.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare transparency, consumer engagement, or cost containment solutions is strongly preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus, as is experience working with C-suite clients and strategic partners.
Benefits:
  • Competitive executive compensation package aligned with senior leadership scope and experience.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with access to additional healthcare tools.
  • 401(k) plan with company match and immediate vesting.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment with strong autonomy.
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Paid parental leave and family support benefits.
  • Employee assistance programs including counseling and wellness resources.
  • Pet insurance and employee discount programs.
  • Paid volunteer time and community engagement opportunities.
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on equity, collaboration, and mission-driven impact.
