• Lead the design and delivery of complex civil engineering solutions for utility-scale renewable energy and land development projects.
• Prepare and review civil engineering plans, grading designs, drainage systems, stormwater management solutions, erosion control measures, access roads, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Oversee civil engineering activities across multiple projects or project portfolios, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Apply advanced engineering principles and sound professional judgment to develop practical, constructible, and code-compliant design solutions.
• Review project documentation, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical studies to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Identify technical risks, site constraints, permitting requirements, and opportunities to improve constructability, efficiency, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, project management, and external stakeholders to support seamless project execution.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for clients, permitting authorities, consultants, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings, communicate engineering recommendations, and support proposal development, budgeting, and project planning activities.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop junior engineers while contributing to technical standards, engineering processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or comparable design software.
• Strong expertise in land development design, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and access road design.
• Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, permitting requirements, applicable codes, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex engineering projects and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical engineering solutions for challenging site conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality technical work.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, permitting agencies, project managers, and technical stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; multi-state licensure is an advantage.
• Experience with renewable energy, utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), infrastructure, or large-scale land development projects is highly preferred.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience is desirable.
