Reporting to the Warehouse or Production Manager our Warehouse Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of all components of finished goods from the production floor through shrink wrapping and finally loading them onto tractor trailers for shipment. Our Production Material Handlers move our raw goods and unfinished product through the production process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Moving finished skids from the Quality Inspection area to the Shipping staging area. From there the palatized products will be loaded onto tractor trailers.

· Maintain overall general cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.

· Provide general assistance where needed.

· Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to operate a forklift.

· Ability to multitask.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Maintain good punctuality and be a dependable team player.

· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

· Must be reliable and maintain open communication with management to achieve all goals and production requirements.

· Ability to follow standard work regulations and processes.

· Open to cross-training in other functions/departments

· Basic Math Skills

Physical Requirements:

· Lift up to 50 pounds

· Bending, lifting, and kneeling

Experience:

· At least 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting as a Material Handler.
