CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $80,000 – $110,000 per year.

Essential Functions and Abilities Required:
- Builds accurate, competitive estimates for self-perform framing and drywall scopes, with familiarity in ACT and plaster estimating as well.
- Performs detailed takeoffs using Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar software.
- Willing to walk jobsites during the estimating phase to verify field conditions and scope.
- Coordinates directly with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Applies HCAI/OSHPS project experience, including familiarity with infection control requirements, multi-phase work, and occupied facility constraints.
- Manages and distributes information during the project pursuit/preconstruction process, addendums, ASIs, pre-bid RFIs, preliminary schedules, standard contract documents, etc.
- Responsible for directly communicating estimate status and critical issues to clients and trade partners.
- Supports the preconstruction manager to ensure client deliverable dates and RFP requirements are met.
- Manages and tracks historical cost data on past pursuits, and maintains current cost data in our databases.
- Ability to evaluate and level bids received by subcontractors and confidently present the "best value" subcontractor to the client.
- Participates in constructability reviews to identify constructability issues, drawing discrepancies, VE options, etc.
- Assists with estimating hand-off to project teams and supports project start-up and trade procurement.
- Open to learning and estimating additional scopes over time, including paint, concrete, or millwork.
- Comfortable exploring AI or other new technology tools to improve estimating efficiency.
Education / Experience Required:
- 2-5 years of estimating experience, ideally with framing and drywall scopes.
- HCAI / OSHPD project experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree not require but preferred.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff or similar takeoff software, and project management software (Procore).
- Experience with Building Connected, Destini, Sage/Timberline, Winest, or other estimating and bid solicitation software is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills: ability to engage with clients, internal team members, and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve results.
