Summary Statement

The Member Events Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and success of all assigned Member Events. This role transforms vision into memorable experiences by overseeing event logistics, leading staff, and ensuring each event is delivered seamlessly, exceeds Member expectations, and reflects the Club's standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Lead the planning and execution of assigned Member Events from concept through completion
- Work with Member Committees to develop event concepts, themes, and programming
- Support participation goals (for Events) through effective communication and outreach/marketing
- Develop detailed event timelines, logistics plans, and operational workflows
- Ensure all event elements (venue, food & beverage, entertainment, décor, staffing, etc.) are aligned and executed to Club standards
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown – inclusive of inventory and organization of Event Swag
- Review post-event reports and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage the Event surveys, distribution, collection and analysis of data
- Partner with internal departments (F&B, Communications, Operations) to execute events
- Oversee event booking and tracking through the Catering department
- Supervise and provide direction to Member Event Coordinators and event associates
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure accountability across the team
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of event associates
- Develop and manage event budgets in alignment with departmental goals; Monitor expenses, track revenue, to meet or exceed budget
- Ensure alignment between member expectations and operational feasibility to achieve high levels of member satisfaction
- Review and approve Social media content in collaboration with Communications department
- Collaborate with Communications on event promotion and marketing strategies
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; some college or relevant coursework preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in event planning or hospitality, preferably in a private club or luxury environment
- Proven experience managing events from concept through execution
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred

- Consistently delivers high-quality Member Events that reflect the Club's standards, are well-executed, and create positive, memorable Member experiences.
- Successfully manages multiple events and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timelines, logistics, and operational details are executed seamlessly.
- Demonstrates strong financial stewardship by developing, managing, and achieving event budgets.
- Builds and maintains strong cross-departmental relationships, ensuring collaboration and alignment with all partnering departments.
- Ensures a high level of Member satisfaction, proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues professionally, and maintaining a service-first approach.
- Drives participation and engagement in Member Events, supporting effective communication, promotion, and overall event appeal.
- Uses data and post-event analysis to improve performance while demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, and adaptability; maintains composure in a fast-paced environment and upholds confidentiality and Club standards at all times.
- Actively supports innovation and continuous improvement, bringing forward ideas that enhance the Member experience and overall event programming.
- Effectively provides clear direction to team members to ensure accountability, strong performance and professional growth.
