This Director is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the management of Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Neonatal Specialty Unit under the direct supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer. The Director plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the operation/activities in those departments. He/she is responsible for the performance of the employees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure optimum patient care and spends 90% of time in management. He/she participates in a call for house supervision call as required and relieves the CNO as needed.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree or currently enrolled in a BSN program OR
• Master’s Degree (preferred)

License, Certification, Etc:

• BLS

Experience:

Minimum

• 5 years nursing leadership experience

Preferred

• 5 years’ experience in Obstetrical Department specialty
