  • POSITION SUMMARY

    • The Medical Education Coordinator is a professional position and critical to the success of graduate medical education/ medical students rotating in East Alabama Health’s facilities. The medical education coordinator supports students during their clinical rotations at East Alabama Medical Center and may provide support in other GME departments. As such, this applicant must possess skills in leadership, communication, organization, and personnel management. The medical education coordinator is expected to develop unique knowledge of affiliated medical schools and assist the director of student medical education in scheduling, educational programming, and support of medical students.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High School Graduate

    • Minimum Experience
      • One year of previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Department Secretary or providing general clerical support to a team of professionals.

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • N/A

    • Preferred Education
      • Bachelor’s

    • Preferred Experience
      • Two years of previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Department Secretary or providing general clerical support to a team of professionals.
