Position Responsibilities: Create online media advertising strategies for clients that demonstrate critical thinking and sound rationale.

Act as key point of contact for day-to-day clients.

Manage a team to ensure excellent media management, quality assurance, campaign analysis, and performance.

Lead internal training of junior-level team members.

Transform campaign metrics and market research into actionable customer insights, observations, and implications.

Accountable for on-time, on-budget campaigns, and quality assurance of all ad placements.

Develop positive working relationships within the department, the company, and the publisher community.

Proactively identify/resolve/escalate issues to appropriate staff.

Deliver POVs that demonstrate strong industry knowledge and thought leadership.

Proactively seek to enhance agency processes.

Lead internal meetings with media team to communicate and manage priorities.

Perform landscape/target and competitive analyses using online measurement tools.

Create and maintain media documents: flowcharts, timelines, RFPs, POVs, plan. agreements/contracts, and correspondence from within and outside the agency.

Provide timely feedback and performance evaluation to senior media planners, media planners and assistant media planners.

Assist in the hiring of new media employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skills and Competencies - Ability to visualize bigger picture of media, understand broader marketing concepts and the media marketplace

Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

Self-motivated

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Ability to write clear, cohesive, client-ready documents.

Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities a must

Strict attention to detail, work quality, and deadlines

Strong leadership and coaching skills

Strong client service orientation

Strong analytical skills including media performance evaluation, insight development, and storytelling

Well versed in publisher landscape
Qualifications - Minimum of three years media experience required, strong digital experience preferred

Experience drafting and issuing RFPs and negotiating with publisher partners

In depth understanding of media research tools, including Media Ocean, DoubleClick DFA, comScore, Kantar, Google Analytics, and/or Omniture

Pharmaceutical industry or health and wellness experience desired, not required
