Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Field positions the incumbent will serve as a member of a team assigned to installation projects. Responsible for all the processes and activities involved with executing the highest quality installations and or reconfigurations as executed from the Project Manager or Local Planner. Primary responsibilities include understanding and accurate installation of various makes and models of systems furniture. Strong work ethic and dedication to customer service to ensure customer satisfaction on every job. Quality service of utmost importance.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Satisfying the customer on each job.
- Thorough understanding of the basic steps and principles of systems furniture installation.
- Continue to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all manufacturers and models of systems furniture.
- Continue to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the efficient installation of all manufacturers and models of systems furniture.
- Continue to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of installation documents and designs.
- Continue to develop understanding of Data / Communication, Electrical and Information Systems involvement in a project.
- Develop thorough understanding of efficient unload and staging of systems furniture.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs alone; up to 400 lbs in a team carry.
- Must be able to walk, lift, and carry for 6-10 hours daily.
- Ability to work office moves that may occur after hours
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Basic literacy and math skills. Good communication skills. Complete TRS (Technology Relocation Specialists) training and certification
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience: 6 months to 1-year experience in installation of office furniture. Training available.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Work Location: Works in an office environment.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a typical, comfortable interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements; individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.
Safety Equipment: Steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses and vest.
