Overnight Caregiver and Executive Assistant (Full Time)

Elk Ridge, UT (on-site caregiving premises)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Caregiver and Executive Assistant to provide care for two young men with muscular dystrophy. This unique role combines hands-on caregiving with key administrative support for the COO of LifeSeasons. The position offers full benefits, a competitive salary, and opportunities for personal downtime during overnight shifts, while remaining available to provide care as needed.

Responsibilities:

Primary-Caregiving Duties:

• Assist with nightly routines, including evening medications, personal hygiene, Hoyer lift transfers, toileting, muscle massage and getting in bed.
• Repositioning and attending to comfort needs throughout the night.
• Assist with occasional, rare hygiene-related needs, which may include managing unforeseen situations during the night.
• Assist with morning routines, including getting up, toileting, showering, dressing, morning medications and simple breakfast.

Secondary- Administrative and Special Projects:

• Assist with Operations and Customer Support tasks such as managing incoming customer orders, updating EDI transaction documents, process improvement and documentation, prepare customer mail documents, etc.
• Provide executive administrative support, including managing email communications, scheduling meetings, and supporting off-site planning sessions.
• Handle administrative tasks related to LifeSeasons’ office locations and support additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred, but training is available for the right person.
• Ability to physically perform the required caregiving tasks (lifting, shifting, reaching, and using a Hoyer lift).
• Key traits: Patience, proactive problem-solving, and compassion.
• CNA training and/or familiarity with assistive care devices is a plus.

Shift Details:

• Weekday nights: 9:30 pm to 8:00 am the following morning Mon-Thurs nights.
• (example: Monday night shift would conclude Tuesday morning.)
• Weekend night: One night per weekend—either Friday or Saturday, 10:30 pm to 9:00 am the following morning.
• (This weekend night can alternate or switch as needed, based on mutual agreement.)
• Location: On-site at the family’s residence, with access to designated office space.
• Personal downtime: Overnight hours include significant downtime, though availability for care is required throughout the shift.
