FWS Fall 2024, Library Student Assistant - Young Library in Lexington, Kentucky at University of Kentucky

Must be currently enrolled as Full Time UK student for Fall 2024 Semester.

Must speak and understand English, enjoy working with the public and have good customer service skills. Must have attention to detail, be willing to carry out work efficiently and effectively and take initiative.

Be able to physically push heavy book carts, shelve materials on lowest and highest shelves (using step stool) and occasionally work in dusty environment.

Weekdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Evenings.
Weekends.
3rd Shift from 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities include working at the Circulation Desk (checking out books, answering questions, and other patron assistance), Stacks Maintenance (sorting, shelving, shelf reading books) and other tasks as assigned.
