National Jewish Health – Tobacco Cessation Program
**Remote positions with our team are currently available for candidates located in
CO, TX, WI, MN, AZ, CA, IL, FL, VA, HI, OK and NY.**
Our team enjoys fully remote work and as a 7-day/week call center, we offer a wide variety of scheduling options.
The Tobacco Cessation Health Coach is an exciting and rewarding position aimed at freeing people from tobacco addiction. Coaches will connect with a diverse population of participants and meet them where they’re at in their quitting journey. The support provided is primarily conducted over the phone; however, we also use digital programs via web, chat, and text to help our participants towards a tobacco-free life. The Coach position is a challenging role, but having the opportunity to help people make positive changes in their lives is meaningful work. We hear callers express their struggles, challenges, inspiring success stories, and gratitude for the support we provide. Position Summary
The Tobacco Cessation Health Coach provides assessment, counseling, education and behavioral intervention to tobacco users. This position directly assists tobacco users by using motivational interviewing techniques in deciding whether to make a quit attempt, obtaining and using cessation medicine and staying abstinent from tobacco. Counseling is conducted over the phone and/or through the internet with participants.

Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: Salary for this position is set at $20.75/hour. Candidates who are bilingual speaking Spanish will receive an additional $1.00/hour lanugage differential.
