Warehouse & Mailroom Assistant at Homesteaders Life Company Corp – West Des Moines, Iowa

As a Warehouse & Mailroom Assistant, you will accept incoming forms from printers, stock, maintain inventory counts, and handle mail operations. You will work closely with folder/inserter and mail machines. You will work closely with a team and assist facility manager with any moves.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Receives, opens, and sorts incoming mail, delivers within the company.

· Maintains document Folder/ Inserter machine, cleans, builds mailing projects.

· Delivers and picks up inter-office mail.

· Prepares Certified mail.

· Accepts printing material, stocks storage area and maintains inventory.

· Prepares variety of documents, including collating, envelope stuffing, stapling.

· Lifts, carries, and opens boxes of office and customer supplies.

· Equivalent to high school graduation.

· Basic knowledge of office procedures, and office machine operation.

· 1+ years of general office clerical, mail room and/or supply room experience.

· Ability to stand for periods of time to run mailing machines.

· Basic knowledge in Microsoft office products: Outlook, Excel, and Word
