Join our team as an Area Catering Sales Manager!

As our Area Catering Sales Manager, youll help hotels hit their catering and banquet goals by winning new business, wowing clients, and working closely with our sales leaders. Whether its Social, Corporate, Business, or SMERF events, youre the go-to for bringing in great groups and making every occasion a success!

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM),overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Goal-Getter Gurus Crush those assigned sales and revenue goals (and yes, solicitation call goals, too)! Every call counts, every target mattersbring in the wins and watch those numbers soar.
  • Sales Tour Trailblazers Proactively reach out with solicitation calls, wow clients with engaging sales tours, and entertain guests like a prowhether its Social, Corporate, Business, or SMERF segments, youre always ready to make connections that count!
  • Relationship Builders Extraordinaire Deepen bonds with assigned accounts in Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel (BT), and Groups. Youre all about nurturing existing relationships and making sure clients keep coming back for more.
  • Trend Spotting Specialists Keep your finger on the pulse of market segment trends. Analyze, evaluate, and adapt your strategies so youre always ahead of the curve, ready to seize every opportunity!
  • Community & Team Champions Approach every encounter with guests and teammates with a friendly, attentive, and service-driven attitude. Stay visible in the local community and industry organizations, tackle meetings and special projects with energy, and always be ready to jump in where neededbecause teamwork and hospitality are what set you apart!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; previous Catering Sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated creativity and knowledge of food and beverage; strong professional selling and communication skills to negotiate and influence clients and colleagues.
  • Valid drivers license for the applicable state; proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver organized, engaging presentations.
