WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Drive business development and expand market presence within the architectural solutions and interior construction space.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target markets including A&D firms, general contractors, developers, and end users.
  • Promote and position the full DIRTT solution (Walls, Casework, Power & Networks, Floors, and Breathe Walls).
  • Build brand awareness and serve as a visible ambassador within the business and design community.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to generate opportunities.

Own and grow client relationships to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Establish regular communication cadence to stay aligned with client needs and project goals.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase account value.

Lead the sales process from project identification through close.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare, review, and present proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
  • Support pricing strategy and proposal development to achieve target margins.
  • Ensure contract compliance and successful handoff to project execution teams.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Partner with design, project management, and installation teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Work closely with DIRTT representatives and internal stakeholders to align on sales strategy and execution.
  • Support onboarding of new clients and integration into internal processes.
  • Maintain visibility into project progress and proactively address risks or challenges.

Provide market insight and strategic input to drive growth.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of construction processes, real estate trends, and local market conditions.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales activity, pipeline, and key performance metrics.

Ensure operational excellence and sales effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
  • Forecast revenue and manage pipeline to support business objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and account updates to leadership.
  • Utilize tools such as ICE for sales and technical reviews.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, architectural solutions, or related sales
  • Strong understanding of interior construction, job site conditions, and project workflows
  • Experience working with architects, designers, general contractors, and developers
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proven experience in business development and closing complex sales
  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing and proposal development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new tools and systems
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings, job sites, and industry events
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing.
