Junior Estimator Precision Mechanical & HVAC Estimating for Residential and Multi-Family Projects

As a Junior Estimator at Enix Mechanical, you will play a vital role in the project management division by producing accurate bids in a fast-paced environment. You will work directly with leadership to transform complex blueprints into winning proposals while ensuring every detail is accounted for. • Analyze and interpret detailed project drawings, specifications, and bid requests to define project scope.

• Execute precise sheet metal and duct system take-offs to ensure material accuracy.

• Coordinate with vendors to request and compare equipment quotes against project schedules.

• Formulate comprehensive customer proposals that align with HVAC design principles and fabrication standards.

• Monitor and follow up on submitted bids to maintain a consistent project pipeline.

• Cultivate professional relationships with new and existing vendors to optimize procurement.

• Document all estimates within Bluebeam and Excel to maintain strict organizational standards.

• Proven ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, and Bluebeam.

• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail in high-pressure environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team and vendor coordination.

• Mechanical background or fundamental understanding of HVAC systems.

• Associates Degree in a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical or HVAC estimating.

• Experience with CAD software for drafting or design review.

• Demonstrated experience in residential or multi-family project bidding.
