Office Assistant (Shipping & Receiving Experience) at Latitude Inc – Odenton, Maryland

We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant with shipping and receiving experience to support daily administrative and warehouse-related operations. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and providing general office support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in both office and light warehouse environments.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight)
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs, inventory records, and documentation
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies or delays
• Distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments
• Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and stock organization
• Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative support tasks
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with customer or vendor inquiries as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in both office and shipping areas
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
