Home Health and Hospice Volunteer at Advanced Home Health & Hospice of Arizona – Mesa, Arizona

Advanced Home Health and Hospice of Arizona is dedicated to providing compassionate home health nursing and rehabilitation services to the residents of Mesa and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a volunteer. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in our community and contribute to meaningful causes.

There are many different things you can do as a Hospice Volunteer, including:

• Patient Companionship
• Assist with legacy projects
• Running errands
• Phone Call Check-ins
• Assist with the Bereavement Program
• In office, clerical responsibilities
• Art therapy
• Community outreach
• Pet therapy (must have a Certified Therapy Animal)
• Playing games
• Light housekeeping, Yardwork

Please note that this is an unpaid volunteer position. We appreciate your dedication and commitment to our cause.

No experience is necessary. We will provide all training and orientation.

As a hospice volunteer, you may assist with patient-related or non-patient-related tasks. Our volunteers select the tasks they are most comfortable performing. Time and commitment are flexible.

• Monday through Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm
