GENERAL SUMMARY
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and scaling a high-performing sales organization focused on driving revenue growth across Bolting Systems rental, sales and services of hydraulic torque and tensioning bolting solutions. This role oversees both inside and outside sales teams and is accountable for expanding market share across the Gulf Coast region. Primary markets include, but are not limited to: Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Offshore), Power Generation, Petrochemical and Chemical Processing, Construction & Infrastructure and Manufacturing & Industrial.
This leader will combine strong commercial acumen, deep industry expertise, and operational discipline to deliver sustained growth, strengthen customer relationships, and position the company as a trusted solutions provider in critical bolting applications.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage inside and outside sales teams, establishing clear goals, KPIs, and accountability
- Drive revenue growth across all business lines: equipment sales, rentals, service, repair, maintenance, training, and calibration
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and industry stakeholders
Team Development & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and pipeline assessments
- Align compensation and incentive programs with performance outcomes
Customer & Market Engagement
- Serve as an executive point of contact for strategic accounts
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure alignment on value proposition and service delivery
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Operational Excellence
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and sales pipeline management
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems and data-driven decision-making
- Partner with operations and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience
- Drive pricing strategies and contract negotiations to maximize profitability

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 8–12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing both inside and outside sales teams
- Demonstrated success in the oil and gas industry (upstream, midstream, and/or downstream)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment or closely related industrial tools
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing multi-state or regional sales territories, preferably in the Gulf Coast
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred:
- Experience with rental and service-based business models
- Technical understanding of bolting applications, maintenance, and calibration services
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (MBA a plus)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area which, under certain conditions, requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. The temperature of the primary work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
