Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized HR & Administrative Partner to support both the people and operational sides of a busy fast-food restaurant. This role is critical in ensuring administrative accuracy, building a strong team culture, and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations when needed.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role; ideal for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes coordination and stepping into the action during peak hours. The right candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Operations

  • Manage weekly invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Track and maintain budget reports, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct ongoing vendor reassessments to ensure quality and cost efficiency
  • Coordinate and place weekly/bi-weekly uniform orders
  • Track and manage employee deductions, including uniforms and other applicable items
  • Oversee and maintain the in-store email inbox, ensuring timely communication and follow-up

Human Resources & Talent Management

  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including:
  • Posting job openings
  • Screening candidates
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews
  • Support hiring decisions in partnership with the Restaurant Operator
  • Manage and execute new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records and documentation

Team Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and execute team member celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones)
  • Coordinate and manage promotions and advancement tracking
  • Lead Team Member of the Month and other recognition programs
  • Track and highlight guest recognition moments
  • Manage and track bonus assignments and incentive programs
  • Help foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance team environment

Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Perform time punch reconciliation, including:
  • Daily review and corrections
  • Ensuring accuracy prior to payroll submission
  • Track and report delivery tips accurately
  • Assist with payroll processing (final approval by Restaurant Operator)
  • Monitor and manage uniform deductions to ensure payroll accuracy

Operations Support

  • Provide front-of-house or back-of-house support during peak periods or as needed, including:
  • Taking orders
  • Serving guests
  • Assisting with food preparation or packaging
  • Maintain a strong understanding of daily restaurant operations to better support the team
  • Step in where needed to ensure smooth service and an excellent guest experience

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track and report on in-store contests and performance incentives
  • Maintain organized records and provide regular updates to the Restaurant Operator
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative, HR, and operational processes

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in administration, HR, recruiting, or restaurant operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and scheduling tools
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Associates degree (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay is $20/hr
