This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and relationship-driven marketing leader with deep oncology expertise to shape high-impact engagement initiatives across the biopharma ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of external-facing programs designed to strengthen partnerships, support business development efforts, and elevate scientific collaboration within the oncology space. Working in a highly cross-functional and innovation-focused environment, you will collaborate with commercial, medical, and product teams to deliver meaningful experiences through congresses, advisory boards, executive events, and stakeholder engagement programs. The position offers strong visibility and influence, requiring a balance of scientific fluency, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. Ideal candidates are proactive, collaborative professionals who thrive in matrixed organizations and enjoy driving measurable impact through external engagement and thought leadership initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual engagement strategies aligned with oncology business development priorities, including congress participation, executive events, sponsored symposia, roadshows, advisory boards, and stakeholder programs.
  • Build and maintain influence maps across key opinion leaders, consortia, cooperative groups, and pharmaceutical stakeholders to support targeted engagement strategies and account progression.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, business development, medical affairs, product, and event functions to ensure cohesive, compliant, and impactful external engagement activities.
  • Translate complex scientific data, publications, clinical insights, and market intelligence into compelling messaging frameworks, partner-facing materials, and event content.
  • Gather and synthesize stakeholder feedback from congresses, meetings, and advisory engagements to inform strategic planning, future investments, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines, and reporting processes while tracking KPIs related to engagement quality, pipeline influence, and program ROI.
  • Ensure all activities and materials comply with healthcare industry regulations, internal approval processes, and organizational standards.
  • Support strategic account engagement initiatives by contributing insights, recommendations, and measurable outcomes across the commercial and medical landscape.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or a related field required; MBA, MS, PhD, PharmD, or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in biotech, diagnostics, pharmaceutical marketing, oncology partnerships, market development, or stakeholder engagement roles.
  • Strong background in oncology required; experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, MRD/ctDNA, or biopharma services highly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading congress strategies, executive engagement programs, advisory boards, or KOL initiatives within regulated healthcare environments.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific and clinical content into impactful B2B messaging, engagement programs, and commercial enablement materials.
  • Strong understanding of oncology market dynamics, pharmaceutical partnerships, and external stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business development, medical affairs, product, legal/compliance, and commercial teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, campaign analytics, event measurement, stakeholder segmentation, and ROI reporting preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and project leadership skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with a salary range of approximately $185,600 – $246,600 USD, depending on experience and location.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonuses and long-term equity awards.
  • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off, company holidays, and wellness-focused benefits.
  • Additional family support benefits, including fertility care and bonding leave programs.
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of precision medicine and oncology innovation alongside highly accomplished professionals.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on advancing personalized healthcare and scientific progress.
