Clinical Pharmacist - Emergency Department (ED) in Baltimore, Maryland at LifeBridge Health

The ED Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmacy services for the emergency department. Key responsibilities include review of medication orders, participation in trauma and emergency response activities, monitoring of patient medication therapy, antimicrobial stewardship and serving as a clinical resource for providers and nursing staff while promoting evidence-based practice. Responsibilities also include areas of regulatory compliance, quality improvement, formulary management, practice advancement, process development and coordination of associated EHR optimizations.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to serve as a clinical educator and mentor for pharmacy staff, students, residents and other healthcare professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:

PharmB or MScPhm or PharmD

PGY-1 residency or two post-graduate practice yrs of direct patient care experience

Pharmacist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
