Director of Nursing – Long-Term Care Facility
Locations: Drexel, NC and Lexington, NC PAY PACKAGE: $25/HR - $30/HR 1200.00 TRAVEL STIPEND (NON-TAXED) = HOURLY RATE $50-$60/hr Full-Time 30-60 DAY CONTRACT (TBD) About Us We are a dedicated and compassionate supplemental staffing company that services the long-term care facility communities of North Carolinia. Position Summary The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility. This individual will lead, manage, and support the nursing department while ensuring regulatory compliance, high-quality resident care, and efficient staffing practices. Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and medication aides.
Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered care that meets or exceeds state and federal regulations.
Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, interdisciplinary teams, and families.
Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure readiness for surveys and inspections.

Current and valid RN license in NC
Minimum of 1 year Director of Nursing experience in a Long term Care Facility
Understanding of CMS regulations, MDS, and survey readiness
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of infection control, resident rights, and quality improvement processes

Registered Nurse
Prior Director of Nursing experience mandatory
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Matrix Care)
