About This Position

Description:

JOB SUMMARY

This position will create visual communications and marketing assets for the ENVE brand. This includes ads, social media content, email creative, product graphics, packaging design, and product displays. This position will create and format artwork, ensure quality and brand standards are met, and execute creative campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1) Create visual concepts and solutions for marketing campaigns and assist in the design of promotional materials such as t-shirts, stickers, banners, and posters.

2) Create social media and email assets.

3) Collaborate with other designers in the creation of digital marketing assets, including web images web design as directed by the Art Director or Senior Graphic Designer.

4) Formulate ideas and visual solutions for marketing campaigns.

5) Ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines and accurately represents the company’s values and messaging.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

6) Assists cross-functionally as needed.

7) Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

8) Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

9) Follow all procedures as they pertain to this position.

10) Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time position working a 9/80 schedule. Regular onsite attendance is expected and required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (R) = Required (P) = Preferred (Equivalent combinations will be considered)

(R) Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field.

(R) 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer.

(R) Professional working knowledge of relevant design programs for print, environments, products, graphics, and the web

(including Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office (PowerPoint), Macintosh OS X).

(R) Strong artistic/design sensibility.

(R) Strong understanding and use of typography.

(R) A Portfolio featuring your work.

(P) Experience or knowledge of the bike and outdoor industry a plus.

SKILLS (LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, REASONING, OTHER)

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and supervision to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail is critical.
  • Possess interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate across the department and all levels of the organization. Must be able to prepare concepts and present ideas affectively.
  • A talent for creativity and problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet frequent deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment.

PHYSICAL / VISUAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a typical professional office environment, using standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, copier, etc.) as well as outdoor environments.
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time at a keyboard but can also require standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, bend, grasp, pull, push, stoop or stretch/reach with hands and arms to perform the functions of this position.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Must be able to visually review content.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift product, promotional items, supplies, and materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel by car and/or air, domestically and/or internationally, 10-30 days annually. Local, regional, national, or international assignments may be required.
